FrameCalcs is a free collection of calculators for homeowners, DIYers and contractors planning a project. The site is organized by job: concrete, yard and outdoor projects; floors, walls and paint; and roofing and siding. Each calculator turns your measurements into materials to buy and a rough cost.
Why we built it
Most calculators on the web either hide their formulas or ask for your email before showing a result. Every tool here runs entirely in your browser, shows how the number is calculated, and explains the assumptions behind it, so you can check the math yourself.
How we keep the calculators accurate
- Each formula is written out on the calculator page, with a worked example.
- Figures that change over time (tax brackets, limits, typical rates) are dated on the page and reviewed at least once a year.
- If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it.
Your data stays with you
The numbers you type are processed by JavaScript on your own device. They are not sent to or stored on our servers.
